NATIONAL BUSINESS PROGRAM

FEB 2020

FINAL COMPETITION:

FEBRUARY 29TH, 2020

UBC SAUDER

January 31st, 2020 marked the start of the FUSE BC National Business Program. 48 lessons were taught to 12 schools, and 16 classes across the Lower Mainland. FUSE Executives and Ambassadors taught valuable business concepts to students at participating high schools. A total of 3 lessons were taught to each class, composed of analysis tools, solution and implementation strategies, and slide design advice essential to piecing together a great case presentation. â€‹

During the one month program, students formatted their own presentations to a case study written and produced by the FUSE BC Academia team. The highest-scoring teams from each classroom were selected to compete at the FUSE BC National Business Program Finale. This Finale was held on February 29th with over 150 participants. Delegates were given the challenge of solving and addressing a crisis component to their original case presentations and presented to a panel of industry-professionals afterwards. The FUSE BC team would like to thank our students, teachers, speakers, sponsors, and ambassadors for their time and support in our initiative. It was only with their valuable help that we were able to significantly progress our goal of ensuring that business literacy is accessible to every student.
